TITLE 24 DOCUMENTATION
Title 24 part 6 is the section of California Building Code which details the necessary elements for designing commercial buildings that meet the California building energy efficiency standards.
It includes components like window replacement, new HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, additions or tenant improvements, remodels, insulation, or any new buildings assemblies for commercial projects.

COMMERCIAL HERS TESTING
Home Energy Rating Systems is the main method implemented by the California Energy Commission to ensure that new commercial buildings or tenant improvements are in fact as efficient as they are intended to be.
As HERS raters we use the most advanced equipment to test and verify the specifications of HVAC systems, Insulation materials, and domestic hot water systems. This process ensures the building owner or occupant receives the highest rate of return on their investment possible.
DUCT LEAKAGE
TESTING
Required for any new or altered ducted HVAC systems, duct leakage testing is a HERS testing component that is triggered your Title 24 energy reports. The testing procedures vary depending on the project scope.
ENVELOPE LEAKAGE TESTING
MCH-24, also known as blower door testing, is a requirement for commercial projects. The HERS rater will pressurize the building in order to test for the air leakage of the building envelope.
INDOOR AIR QUALITY AND VENTILATION
Required in high-rise multi family dwellings, the indoor air quality test is performed in conjunction with a blower door test. In certain cases, the blower door test can be avoided with proper mechanical designs.
